As indicated previously, News International have decided that they don’t know how to publish magazines and look as if they’re just going to bring their ‘contract’ operation in-house (article here in the Guardian).

Deep pockets.
The consumer magazine division of News International made a loss of almost £10m last year. (From Press Gazette) This was on revenue of a little over £12 million. (Those figures bear repeating – for every £1 in revenue NI magazines is spending £1.83p). (more…)
