  1. W H Smith now want so much “promotion” money that it is not worth listing with them. How is it profitable to have to pay £3,000 for an issue to hold a listing in their stores when that amounts over £1 per magazine. They are already getting £1.05 per magazine the same as the rest of the trade. The way they and the supermarkets are going they are going to end up with very few magazines.
