Hold the front page, irony connoisseurs. The print edition of the NUJ’s The Journalist magazine has been scrapped from its April edition. All future editions of the magazine will be distributed as PDFs or an equivalent format.

  1. Hold your horses! The magazine will be distributed by PDFs or equivalents, but not necessarily exclusively – the future of the print version has not yet been decided.

  2. I’m not sure that Lazarus was a member of the NUJ – if the April print edition has been nixed I’d bet a bawbie against a bag of nuts that it won’t be resurrected in its previous dead tree format.

  3. I’m an NEC member, the April edition was an experiment – as the journalism.co.uk article says, ADM initiated a review of the whole shebang, but didn’t go so far as to end printing (which is likely to continue in one form or another).
