Following the Co-op’s takeover of Somerfield, the December issue of the Somerfield Magazine will be the last. Anybody care? Thought not.

  1. The magazine did an excellent job editorially for the intended readership, had good ABC and NRS figures and was well displayed in the stores. The recipes published were excellent and there were really useful offer coupons. The design and production were very good. I thought it was superior to Sainsbury’s magazine, which is not free, and any food tat on shop shelves. It must have been purely a Coop cost-cutting decision. What’s wrong with you, cynics?!
